Часто замечаю, что большинство программистов, разрабатывающих приложения для Android, не в курсе последних новостей Android Community. Если о появлении новой версии ОС знают практически все, то выход различных полезных библиотек или интересных для разработчиков статей часто остается незамеченным.

За последний год у меня сформировался список контактов в соц. сетях наиболее известных личностей из Android Community. Эти люди регулярно пишут статьи, публикуют библиотеки, отвечают на StackOverflow и т.д. Подобный список помогает одним из первых узнавать новости сообщества Android Developers, поэтому решил поделиться им здесь.

Разработчики из Google

  1. Romain Guy (Twitter [1], Google+ [2], Github [3]) — работает в основном над UI и анимацией. Часто выступает на крупных конференциях вроде Google I/O, Devoxx и т.д.
  2. Reto Meier (Twitter [4], Google+ [5]) — Android Developer Advocate в Google. Пишет книги [6], выступает на конференциях, делает видеообзоры приложений и довольно часто отвечает на StackOverflow.
  3. Roman Nurik (Twitter [7], Google+ [8], Github [9], GoogleCode [10]) — Android Developer Advocate в Google, UI designer. Выступает на конференциях, очень часто выпускает в OpenSource различные кастомные контролы, ведет еженедельный Android Design in Action [11].
  4. Chet Haase (Twitter [12], Google+ [13]) — работает над графикой и анимацией в Android. Перед этим работал в Sun и Adobe. Регулярный докладчик на Google I/O, Devoxx и других крупных конференциях.
  5. Kirill Grouchnikov (Twitter [14], Google+ [15]) — работает над UI в Android. Автор известного блога Pushing pixels [16]. Перед тем как вступил в Android комманду, работал над Swing.
  6. Nick Butcher (Twitter [17], Google+ [18]) — Android Developer Advocate. Занимается UI/UX. Один из создателей Android Design in Action.
  7. Xavier Ducrohet (Twitter [19], Google+ [20]) — Android SDK/Developer Tools Tech Lead. В настоящее время работает над новой системой сборки Android проектов, основанной на Gradle.
  8. Richard Hyndman (Twitter [21], Google+ [22], GoogleCode [23]) — Android Developer Advocate.
  9. Adam Powell (Google+ [24]) — один из инженеров Android. Выступал с докаладами на Google I/O.
  10. Dianne Hackborn (Google+ [25]) — Android Framework Engineer. Разрабатывала Fragments API. Иногда пишет интересные технические статьи в Google+.

Сторонние разработчики

  1. Jake Wharton (Twitter [26], Google+ [27], Github [28]) — один из самых известных разработчиков в мире OpenSource Android. Автор используемых многими библиотек (ActionBarSherlock [29], NineOldAndroids [30], ViewPagerIndicator [31] и др.). Работает в Square, компании с очень обширным Github профилем [32].
  2. Jesse Wilson (Twitter [33], Google+ [34], Github [35]) — работал в Google, теперь работает в Square. Основной разработчик популярного Android DI фреймворка Dagger [36].
  3. Eric Burce (Twitter [37], Google+ [38], Github [39]) — еще один разработчик из Square. Активен на гитхабе, делает коммиты в несколько библиотек от Square.
  4. Juhani Lehtimaeki (Twitter [40], Google+ [41]) — ведет известный блог [42] по Android UI/UX паттернам. Недавно на эту тему написал книгу [43].
  5. Kevin Sawicki (Twitter [44], Github [45]) — работает в Github. Автор Github Android клиента [46] и нескольких других популярных приложений/библиотек.
  6. Cyril Mottier (Twitter [47], Google+ [48], Github [49]) — автор нескольких известных OpenSource проектов, среди которых Polaris [50], GreenDroid [51] и др.
  7. Mark Murphy (Twitter [52], Github [53], StackOverflow [54]) — автор книги The Busy Coder's Guide to Android Development [55]. Часто отвечает на StackOverflow, выложил много полезных компонентов и классов на Github.
  8. Diego Torres Milano (Google+ [56], Github [57]) — автор книги Android Application Testing Guide [58]. В своем блоге [59] много пишет о тестировании Android приложений.
  9. Steve Kondik (Twitter [60], Google+ [61], Github [62]) — основатель и основной разработчик CyanogenMod [63].
  10. Chris Banes (Twitter [64], Google+ [65], Github [66]) — разработчик популярного приложения Friendcaster [67]. Создал некоторые популярные кастомные UI компоненты (PullToRefresh [68], PhotoView [69]).
  11. Alexandre Thomas (Twitter [70], Github [71]) — создатель вышедшего недавно проекта AndroidKickstartr [72].
  12. Roberto Tyley (Twitter [73], Google+ [74], Github [75]) — работал в Github, автор Android Git клиента AGit [76].
  13. Mark Allison (Twitter [77], Google+ [78], Github [79]) — автор блога Styling Android [80], где он пишет о кастомизации и изменении стилей различных элементов интерфейса.
  14. Lars Vogel (Twitter [81], Google+ [82], Github [83]) — автор огромного количества статей [84] и нескольких книг. Поисковые запросы кроме StackOverflow очень часто ведут на его сайт.
