Мы продолжаем знакомить вас с различными PCI-E SSD устройствами, которые появляются на рынке всё чаще, что не может не радовать конечного покупателя, ведь чем выше конкуренция, тем ниже стоимость, да и каждый производитель пытается как-то выделить свой продукт на фоне остальных. Сегодня к нам на тест попала карта Huawei Tecal ES3000, как показало наше общение — карта имеет ряд интересных решений, а так же она показала себя крайне хорошо в тестах, при сравнении с конкурентами. Но сначала несколько слов о самой карте и её «фишках».

Для начала обратимся к спецификациям, заявленными производителем

Первое, что бросается в глаза при взгляде на карту — четыре конденсатора, которые предназначены для сохранения данных в случае пропадания питания на сервере, время разряда которых около 1 секунды, что превышает 100мс, необходимые для очистки данных из буфера.

Особенностью является и техническое исполнение карты — она содержит три FPGA, которые располагаются на двух платах. Первая плата несёт на себе интерфейс PCI-E, один контроллер и набор памяти, а так же конденсаторы, обеспечивающие защиту данных в случае отключения питания. Вторая плата содержит на себе ещё 2 контроллера и два набора памяти.

Плата предоставляет пользователю единый раздел, состоящий из этих «наборов» памяти и нет необходимости использоват soft-raid, как это пришлось бы делать в случае с ioDrive 2 Duo, что бы получить максимальный объём. На карте используется память производства Micron.

Помимо этого, в карте используются технологии ECC и RAID5 для исправления ошибок, что позволяет продлить срок жизни накопителя. В зависимости от объёма накопителя, производитель гарантирует объём записи равный 6.4PB, 9.5PB и 19.1PB соответственно для карт объёмом 800ГБ, 1.2ТБ и 2.4TB. Также карта поддерживает технологию TRIM.

После знакомства с теоретической частью, у нас уже чесали руки поскорее установить плату в наш тестовый сервер и проверить — что же она может на практике, поэтому переходим к самому интересному — тесты.

Конфигурация тестового стенда у нас осталась прежней:
Платформа — HP ProLiant DL380 G7
Процессор — Xeon E5606
Память — 8 Гб
Жесткие диски — 3xSAS 146Гб 10k

Набор тестов также не претерпел каких-либо изменений, за исключение того, что карту не удалось проверить при помощи AS SSD Benchmark, он напрочь отказывался работать дальше после теста последовательной записи/чтения. А в будущем мы планируем расширить наши обзоры ещё при помощи Sysbench fileio.

Ещё хотелось бы осветить вопрос о ПО, который задаётся практически в каждой нашей статье — средства мониторинга. Здесь наш подопытный не далеко ушёл от своих собратьев по группе и так же не поддерживает SMART. Всё что есть — это небольшая утилита под Windows, которая выдаёт некоторое количество информации и позволяет перепрошить карту.

Так же карта поддерживает SNMP протокол. По технической части хотелось бы ещё отметить, что карте требуется качественное охлаждения. Даже если в текущий момент она не используется, а просто подключена — нагрев радиатора достаточно сильный (в руке можно держать не более 10 секунд), поэтому нужно уделить особое внимание качеству охлаждения сервера (к примеру, поставить максимальное количество куллеров, если это ещё не сделано).

Подводя итоги, пожалуй, можно сказать что карта Huawei Tecal ES3000 является одной из лучших в классе, из тех, которые побывали у нас на тестировании. Но не только своими техническими показателями нас радует карта, она является и лидером по соотношению цена/качество в данной нише устройств.
